1) How to create a bug?
Note: To create a new bug you should be an Administrator or should have proper
privilege given by the Administrator to "Create Bug".
Click the "Add New Bug" button and you will be taken to Report a Bug page. Fill
up the details in the fields. (To add a date in the Request Due Date field click
the calendar link and a popup window will help you select day, month and year.
Sending Email - Check the Send Email checkbox to send an email to the person you
have assigned the bug details.
Adding Attachments - To add an attachment(s) check the Add Attachment checkbox and
a popup window will open. Browse the files you like to attach from your PC and
click Add Attachments button. You can attach up to three files. To remove an
attached file, click Remove link. To add more files, click Add More button. After your
file(s) is / are attached click Close button and the files are attached to the page.
After you have completed filling the page, click Save & Continue button to save the
changes and continue. To save and return to the home page click Save & Back button.
To reset the fields click the Reset button. To cancel the bug report, click Cancel button.
Note: Fields marked with * are mandatory.
2) How to update an old bug?
To update an old bug click the respective Bug link and you will be taken to Update Bug
Details page. Fill up the details in the fields.
Adding new attachments - To Add New Attachment select the checkbox below the Attached
Files at the bottom of the page. A popup window Bug Tracking System: Add Attachment
will appear. Select the file(s) to attach using the Browse button on the window and
click Add Attachments button to attach your file.
Sending Email - Select the check box Send Email to send an email to the reporter and
assignee of the Bug regarding the updates.
After making changes wherever necessary, click the Save button to save your changes.
